Its sculptural design, ideal for a reading armchair, was a vanguard project. Unfortunately, for reasons related to manufacturing techniques, the chair never went into production. Only after 1950 it was possible to mass-produce and market shells of organic form, such as those of the famous Plastic Armchair by Charles and Ray Eames or the Saarinen Tulip Chair.
The name of the item is used to describe the product as an inspiration and it can not be considered as an original piece.
