The chair swan, also known as 'Swan Chair', was built in 1958 for the luxurious Foyer des Radisson Royal hotel in Copenhagen. Together with the "Egg Chair", it belongs to the latest collection designed by the famous Arne Jacobsen. Already at that time it was recognized as an important modern furnishing object, given its highly innovative structure. It is still considered one of the most classic and important interior design objects of the entire twentieth century. The chair is devoid of straight lines but has only fluid curves, which give it a sensual and pleasant charm, almost like a human being. The padded structure rests on an aluminum star-shaped pedestal and is very resistant. The padding is available in different fabrics and types of leather. This exceptional creature designed by Jacobsen, given its peculiarity in the design world, is an integral part of the collection of the Museums of Modern Art in New York.
