The Turin sofa is a sofa that has multiple combinations thanks to the different modules that compose it. The model base is a 109x109x68 cm square that can be assembled in different ways. Then there are other modules such as the 143x109x68 which allows you to create a small Chaise Lounge. The Model is inspired by Barcelona Sofa. Questo divano è l'espressione di un progetto incredibilmente semplice ed elegante creato dal rinomato designer Mies Van Der Rohe. La seduta fu ideata nel 1929 per il padiglione tedesco della Fiera Internazionale di Barcellona. Le sedute sono accompagnate da sgabelli separati, ed avevano la funzione di “trono” per la coppia dei reali di Spagna durante la cerimonia di apertura. Mies Van Der Rohe si è ispirato alla famosa sedia 'Sella Curulis' usata dai Giudici nell’Antica Roma, e dagli sgabelli pieghevoli che utilizzavano gli antichi Egizi. Il risultato di questo mix è stato definito come un articolo d’arredo “importante ed elegante”. La particolarità che contraddistingue l’intera collezione Barcelona sono soprattutto i bottoni e la silhouette delicata, accompagnata da una struttura solida che garantisce stabilità e durabilità.
