The model is inspired by The Barcelona Bench. The Barcelona Bench (two seat) was designed by the architect designer Mies Van der Rohe. This historic bench is a furnishing item that expresses refinement, elegance, class and comfort. It was designed in 1929 as a furnishing accessory for the German pavilion at the International Exhibition held in Barcelona. The pieces of this series would be used by the royal Spaniards for the memorial party of the palace, and they would have to act as a "throne". The design is direct and essential and follows the design line that Van der Rohe held throughout his career. The mix of fine leather and sparkling metal is perfect for any type of furniture and shows a particular elegance.
The name of the item is used to describe the product as an inspiration and it can not be considered as an original piece.
