In 2007 Hadid designed the Moon System sofa for B&B Italia. In 2008 she also designed a shoe collection for Lacoste.

The Moon Project is a real design object, worthy of this name.

The sofa expresses the genius of Zaha Hadid in all its forms and directions, representing the references to her architectural works that she reproduced in her projects for external structures (Qatar Stadium).

The name moon recalls the fusion mix of these unusual shapes: a monobloc that contains seat, back and armrest sculpted in a single block.

Zaha decided to bring the moon into our home with this beautiful project. Being a great designer she did not bring a man to the moon, but the moon in her own home. In a certain sense, she could make us touch the sky with a finger.
