BALL CHAIR

Price €1,834 1834

The chair is inspired by the Ball model. The Ball Chair, despite having an absolutely futuristic design, was created back in 1963. Its exceptional shape is the result of a perfect mix of size and formal balance. Aarnio begins the construction of the chair in 1962 in the living room of the house. The Aarnio family, just moved into a new house, needed a chair that was large, comfortable and elegant, so Eero Aarnio designed the Ball Chair. He began by designing a normal chair and as the project simplified the shape, it was slowly reduced to a sphere. The designer then hung a one-by-one drawing on the wall and began to imagine how he would find himself inside the armchair. He therefore pretended to sit down and his wife marked the position of her head with a pencil so that she could determine the height of the seat. The project went ahead and the other measures, by virtue of the circular form, came as a result. The Ball Chair is certainly one of the major icons of modern design and is still a unique and inimitable piece perfect for any modern furniture thanks to the wide choice of colors available.

ORGANIC

SWAN

Price €1,719 1719

The chair swan, also known as 'Swan Chair', was built in 1958 for the luxurious Foyer des Radisson Royal hotel in Copenhagen. Together with the "Egg Chair", it belongs to the latest collection designed by the famous Arne Jacobsen. Already at that time it was recognized as an important modern furnishing object, given its highly innovative structure. It is still considered one of the most classic and important interior design objects of the entire twentieth century. The chair is devoid of straight lines but has only fluid curves, which give it a sensual and pleasant charm, almost like a human being. The padded structure rests on an aluminum star-shaped pedestal and is very resistant. The padding is available in different fabrics and types of leather. This exceptional creature designed by Jacobsen, given its peculiarity in the design world, is an integral part of the collection of the Museums of Modern Art in New York.

Egg chair

Price €1,040 1040

It is distinguished by its welcoming lines and its high backrest that create a shell, in fact an 'egg', inside which one feels protected from the eyes and protected. The chair is a chair designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the Radisson hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. The chair was created according to the typical Jacobsen style ie using modern materials. The chair, which was an innovative revolution for that era, is made of a fiberglass cast structure with a polyurethane foam padding. The coating is then applied and laid on the structure assuming a perfect and sinuous shape.
